Vyacheslav and I have met only a couple of times over the past few years. It was mostly on business occasions, but it was more than enough to learn what kind of person he was. His respect for everyones opinion and calming energy was something that we all can admire and look up to. Last time we met he told me that he played chess professionally in past and we talked about chess popularization over the last few years. I was hoping to play a game or two with him sometimes in future, even though I was sure he would beat me. I will always remember his warm smile and kindness.
